Faith E. Benn Encalade

At Peters & Monyak, Faith primarily practices in the areas of civil litigation and medical malpractice, defending healthcare providers, including hospitals and individual professionals. Having over a decade of experience, Faith has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of legal matters, including personal injury and wrongful death actions, product liability and premises liability actions, insurance coverage disputes, and breach of contract claims. She is admitted to practice in Georgia, Illinois, Missouri, Louisiana, DC, Maryland, and the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland.

Faith, a native of Boston, Massachusetts, was raised in Marietta, Georgia. She graduated from Georgia State University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism. She obtained her Juris Doctor in 2012 from the University of Tennessee College of Law, where she served as Executive Editor for the Tennessee Journal of Race, Gender, and Social Justice and received recognition for her academic excellence in Trial Practice and Legal Process and Writing.

Outside of the office, Faith enjoys traveling, photography, and spending time with her husband and two sons.
