Crystal D. Filiberto
Ms. Filiberto has experience representing a variety of professionals including physicians, nurses, psychiatrists, psychologists, mental health professionals, therapists, counselors, and attorneys. She currently focuses her practice on representing individuals and entities against allegations of medical malpractice, professional negligence, birth trauma, and wrongful death. She supports clients through all stages of litigation, from notice of a claim through final resolution. She has experience litigating in both state and federal courts, as well as appellate courts. Ms. Filiberto also has experience representing clients before various Georgia licensing boards.
Ms. Filiberto attended the University of Georgia where she graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice and Sociology. After graduating from the University of Georgia, Ms. Filiberto attended law school at Georgia State University College of Law where she graduated summa cum laude. Ms. Filiberto worked diligently in law school. Her successes were evidenced by the numerous CALI awards she received for the highest grades in her individual classes and her role as Notes & Comments Associate Editor of the Georgia State Law Review.
Ms. Filiberto is a member of Georgia Defense Lawyers Association and she serves as the Secretary of the Professional Liability Section of the State Bar of Georgia. Ms. Filiberto is very involved in the State Bar of Georgia’s High School Mock Trial Program for which she has served as an attorney coach for South Atlanta High School since 2010.
